The Prince and the Sugarplum Fairy

For the longest time have been hopelessly obsessed with the Nutcracker ballet-- it is happy & heroic & speaks to every little girl at heart... & is perfectly Christmas-y. . .

Given my slight obsession & my love for all things Christmas, you can understand my absolute delight when I stumbled upon these darling decorations:

Every Christmas, just know I will be too excited to pull these beautiful glass ornaments out of their box, perhaps with a little Tchaikovsky playing softly in the background. . .

At the ballet. . .

Will never tire of the beauty & enchantment of ballet. For as long as can remember, have been completely smitten with everything to do with this graceful art. . . After seeing the calendar of the West Australian Ballet next year, have decided the only thing to do is buy a season pass. . .

What is not to love about ballet-- inspires the every day: ballerina buns, soft pinks, tulle & ribbon in my hair. The costumes, the grace, the purposeful purposelessness of every move-- the dancers look to be floating & gliding as if in a dream. . .

Cannot help but wonder what life would be like as one of these majestic dancers?
