As the spring sunshine begins to gently warm,  the hemlines start to creep up & we dare to bare shoulders -- pops of colour begin to appear & strappy sandles become our shoe of choice. It feels everywhere I look there are gushing florals & intricate lace & demure scallops & everywhere, everywhere I see beautifully bright colours -- a simple yet elegant resort collection by a favourite designer, Rachel Roy, has me eager for the months ahead, as they get warmer & warmer. . .

DE-clash-LIGHTFUL

Clashing prints & colours is so much fun! 

For the longest time I've lived in a palette of neutralness -- with pale skin & fair hair I found comfort in pinks & nudes & beiges. . . But seemingly from thin air I've developed an absolute LOVE for bright colours & prints & wearing one or two or more in the same outfit! Embellished necklines, jacquard & jewel hues are always balanced with a comfortable, neutral mediator -- but there really are no other rules!

A love affair with green. . .

Always drawn back, again & again, to green-- emerald green, kelly green, sea glass green. . .  Calming & natural; soothing & clean. . .
